RIVERTONES 40th RAISES MONEY FOR AGE UK SOMERSET

The Rivertones held a celebratory evening in November at the new Rumwell Orchard venue at Rumwell Farm Shop near Taunton. The social event for members was to mark the the club’s (Taunton Barbershop Harmony Club’s) 4oth anniversary. A very enjoyable evening included a welcome drink, a delicious two-course hot buffet supper, a photographic display through the years, a presentation to Chorus Director Peter Gover, a celebratory cake, good company – and of course some wonderful harmony singing!

A prize raffle was also held during the evening raised £150 for Rumwell Farm Shop’s chosen charity of the year – Age UK Somerset.
