Who we are and what we do
We are an all male acapella (unaccompanied) harmony chorus, 30+ members strong, based in Taunton, Somerset. We perform at concerts, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries.
When and where do we meet?
We meet every Thursday at Oakwood Church Centre, Obridge Road, Taunton, TA2 7PU between 7pm and 9.45pm.
The aim of The Rivertones
Is to encourage the enjoyment of singing through a continuous high quality educational barbershop singing programme. We are the only chorus of it's type in Somerset
Upcoming Events
2021
Unfortunately the Sidmouth Folk Festival is presenting itself in a different format this year and the Taunton Flower Show has had to make massive changes with regard to its normal venue and content this year. In addition to this the Dunster Show has also been cancelled.
This all means due to the pandemic, 2021 is another year to forget for The Rivertones, but we hope to see you all in 2022.

Bookings
We sing because we enjoy it and any income received pays for the licensing and copyright of our music and for items of uniform. Our charges do not reflect the quality and quantity of what we provide. We can provide a smaller group in the region of 8-15 singers or a larger chorus where between 16 to 25 men entertain your guests - all dressed to impress in smart dress suits and bow ties or in Rivertones casual wear
